  15. In the first paragraph of section 4.3, on page 53, "Variables for
  16. identifiers point to descriptors for the corresponding values."  Isn't
  17. an identifier practically synonymous with a variable?  What sort of
  18. variables is the text referring to as "variables for identifiers"?
